Zeltini Nuclear Missile Base

Inbetween the small towns of Gulbene and Aluksne in north eastern Latvia is the spooky missile base Zeltini.

Compared to the base in Plokstine (Lithuania), this is much more of an adventure while it is not as easily accesible (less people here) and you can walk around as you like without seeing a single person. It is fairly easy to drive around the complex and the missile silos are easy to find.

Even more intersting than the silos are the numerous buildings that are hiding in the surrounding forests. Your body will get a nice adrenaline rush when you walk arond here. But be aware, the ground is full of dark holes, sometimes covered with rotten masonite, sometimes not.
